Cofanetto 4CD che celebra la nuova era post-Jam e la scena mod mentre progrediva dopo il loro scioglimento. 92 tracce che mostrano la scena come una rete underground e un'influenza sulla scena musicale mainstream. Con rarità su CD per la prima volta tra cui singoli di Wipeout, The Playn Jayn e la prima band di Steve Cradock, The Boys. Quando i Jam suonarono il loro ultimo concerto al Brighton Centre l'11 dicembre 1982, ad alcuni sembrò significare la fine del revival mod che era sbocciato nel 1979/80. Non tutte le band presenti qui si sono etichettate come mod, ma tutte le registrazioni presenti qui incorporano un'influenza o uno spirito mod.
Il disco 1 inizia con il collettivo post-Jam soul/jazz/pop di Paul Weller The Style Council e il gruppo soul/pop The Truth dell'ex cantante/chitarrista dei Nine Below Zero Dennis Greaves, che comprende band mod undergound come Small World e The Scene e band che fondono mod con garage rock e psichedelia come The Prisoners e The Playn Jayn.
Il disco 2 continua fino alla fine del decennio con la rinascita mod del 1985 guidata da The Untouchables e Makin' Time, un tema immaginario della colonna sonora di The James Taylor Quartet, Fine Young Cannibals che porta l'anima dello stile nordico nelle classifiche e termina con gli Inspiral Carpets e gli Stone Roses che guardano indietro agli anni '60 e portano una nuova veste di mod Madchester.
Il disco 3 inizia con il ritorno solista di Paul Weller in un'epoca in cui Five Thirty e The Charlatans portarono influenze mod nella scena indie e le band dell'etichetta Acid Jazz di Eddie Piller suonavano musica moderna che manteneva lo spirito del mod e i suoi legami con il soul e il jazz.
Il disco 4 mescola band cult ispirate agli anni '60 come The Aardvarks e The Clique con Ocean Colour Scene e Kula Shaker che hanno riportato mod e psichedelia nelle classifiche e termina con Big Boss Man che fornisce un groove da club senza tempo guidato dall'organo Hammond per il 21 ° secolo.
